Question by Matt: Can I minor in Secondary Education and major in Math to become a teacher?
I intend to to Major in math with a minor in Secondary Education. Can I do this and get a good teaching job, or am I going to have to get a bachelor?s degree in Secondary Education as well.

It mostly has to do with certification. States require you to take specific classes, pass tests, and what-not to get certified. So it depends on how your school does it.
What my university does is I am a Math major nonetheless getting my secondary education certificate for mathematics. So I am a math major with a secondary ed. minor kind of. Basically I?m just tacking on the certification to my math degree consequently I can teach when I graduate.
